Blue butterflies: A type of butterfly with blue wings which are known to feed off of the flowers that grow on graves. These butterflies are the symbol of tragedy for the people of Bosnia after the Bosnian War, in which Bosnian people who were slaughtered between the years of 1992 and 1995 were put in significantly deep graves in order for them not to be found. The International Court of Justice on the genocide claim that Serbia deemed that there is no evidence to be seen. The authorities of Bosnia-Herzegovina seemed out to find the mass graves and discovered changes in the geological structure of certain areas and the emergence of the blue butterflies in specific areas. The blue butterflies led to the discovery of 300 mass graves.
