Hi dear, here’s some information about what I do. I’ve been delving into the concepts of class, object, and memory; often creating a space around these notions. They say artists must have a strong sense of memory, a bit cliché but I had to mention it so that people don’t think I have a bad memory or whatever. I like to focus on psychological illusions, deception, and my own anxieties in life. I’m basically trying to become friends with my childhood traumas, and express these unspoken feelings through objects that linger in the corners of our everyday lives.
Along with my curiosity for material and technique exploration, my whimsical and at times mocking attitude accompanies me as I create pieces that are almost as fragile as my psychology. I embrace the technical mistakes and errors that the academic world doesn't necessarily accept. I love to turn these “flaws” into a fun, personal style.
I invite you to observe the self-expression of an indecisive, confused child living in a tall man’s body.
